Roberta Sassatelli

Roberta Sassatelli is Professor of Sociology at the University of Bologna (Italy) and she previously taught at the University of East Anglia, Norwich (UK) and at the University of Milan (Italy). Besides a long standing focus on the history, sociology and politics of consumption as well as social and cultural theory, her main research areas currently are gender and embodiment, food studies and sustainability.
