Joe Bonem’s highly productive five-decade career has included over three decades in Polymers manufacturing and process development with Exxon Chemical as well as 20 years in consulting. His areas of expertise include all phases of chemical engineering including Technology Transfer and Assimilation, Process Development and Scaleup, Project Basis Development and Process Design, Plant Performance Improvements and Safety Assessment of New and Existing Technology. He is experienced in the development and mentoring of young engineers, and has extensive experience in working in foreign countries and cultures. He also has experience serving as an expert witness. He has published books and magazine articles as listed below as well as making presentations and conducting training at various locations. He holds 3 U.S. patents.
