Mohammad A. Chaichian

Mohammad A. Chaichian is Professor Emeritus of Sociology. He received his PhD in Sociology from Michigan State University; as well as two Master’s degrees in architecture and urban planning from the University of Tehran and University of Michigan, respectively. Born in Iran, he has more than thirty-five years of teaching experience in the United States. His areas of expertise and interest are global political economy, urban sociology, international migration, social inequalities, and critical analysis of architectural design and the built environment. In addition to books listed here, he has published numerous scholarly articles related to above-indicated subject matters.
