I am known as The Barefoot CEO, but sometimes I like to wear bunny slippers. I am living out my Life List and challenging others to do the same.

My books Oil for Your Lamp and Oh Thank Goodness It’s Not Just Me both speak to the common experiences all women share and can relate to. Dream Big: Finding the Courage to Follow Your Dreams and Laugh at Your Nightmares remains a best-seller and is now available on Kindle and Ipad. Thousands of women have written to tell me it has inspired them to launch their own companies and follow their own passions. Something that makes my heart sing!! Permission to Dream Journal is used in workshops across the country. I turned my passion for inspirational quotes into my Stepping Stones collection -- now both available as an APP for your phone. (I highly recommend getting an APP, that is the first time my kids ever really thought I had accomplished anything!)

Speaking of cool, my books and companies have often been featured on television and in many national magazines including: O the Oprah Magazine, Women’s Day, In Touch, More magazine, and on the cover of Business Week. Want to do a double take, walk into get your water that the TSA probably just took away from you and a magazine for the flight and see your own mug staring back at you! That is what happened years ago when I was on the cover of Business Week – me, little ol’ me, on the cover of Business Week!! Still shake my head and laugh at that one!

Among the many awards I have been graced with I am most proud to have received the Soroptimist International Business & Organizations Advancing the Status of Women Award, The National Association of Moms In Business Create Your Dreams Award, and the SBA Business Person of the Year Award.

I have a passion to inspire and a mission to give back. Since selling my trailblazing company Femail Creations my focus has been writing, traveling and helping others design the life of their dreams.

I’m convinced chips and salsa are a food group. Proud to say I have learned how to nap. I have no desire to cure my serious case of wanderlust no matter how many bottles of water the TSA take away from me. And yes, my grand-dog Fiona can wake surf, so Ellen call me!
