For more than thirty years, my raison-d'etre has been the pursuit of Florida as a rich historic and cultural destination many would never expect. While some offer a dismissive view of the Sunshine State in the tired, Floriduh Man, context, I travel non-fiction roads-less-traveled to find stories that interest me and readers who know my mission. During the course of my primary source research into the King of the Beats, Jack Kerouac, tragic Country Rocker Gram Parsons, and young Elvis, I've given the provenance to and helped establish Florida Heritage sites in Orlando, Jacksonville and Winter Haven. My books have received positive reviews worldwide. I am ready for the next book, and the next after that. I'm also a six-time Emmy-Award winning retired broadcast Journallist and two-time recipient of the Edward R. Murrow Award. I'd be honored to have you join me in these wonderful journeys.
