Jennifer W. MacAdam

Dr. MacAdam is an associate professor at Utah State University in Logan, Utah. She has been on the faculty at Utah State since 1991, where she teaches and studies irrigated pastures for grazing-based livestock production. She teaches an introduction to plant physiology and plant anatomy that emphasizes hands-on laboratory experiences and focuses on plants of value to agronomy and horticulture. Structure & Function of Plants was written for the students in this course and similar applied anatomy and physiology courses at other universities. Dr. MacAdam is an active member of the American Society of Agronomy and the Crop Science Society of America, the New Zealand Grassland Association, and the British Grassland Society. She has served as a technical editor for the on-line journal Forage and Grazinglands, and is currently an associate editor of the journals Crop Science and Agronomy Journal.
