Rae McDonald is a children's author, librarian, and presenter. She makes her home in the lush green Pacific Northwest not too far from Puget Sound in the Evergreen State of Washington, USA. Exploring the sea, woodlands, and the abundant natural life around her has given inspiration for countless stories. As and author, illustrator, teacher librarian, and presenter, Rae guides children to investigate the possibilities found inside the covers of a book. Writing and art take her on marvelous creative journeys.
