Gerald Trites

I have written and published 14 books, mostly dealing with business. I also published some fiction, which is a very different activity. In 2009, I published my first novel, The Opportunity. It is based on experiences I had during my time as a senior partner in a major financial services firm. It mixes business with human frailties, like greed, ambition and unfaithfulness.

In 2010, I published a collection of short stories, which were written over several years. They are largely unlinked, although one reviewer said that they are linked with a broad compassion for humanity and the human condition. I liked that.
