Jacqueline H. Wolf

Jackie Wolf is a professor in the Department of Social Medicine at Ohio University, where she teaches the history of medicine and medical ethics. She specializes in the history of women's and children's health and medicine, the history of public health, and the history of biomedical ethics. She has written widely about the history of birth and breastfeeding practices in the United States. She received her PhD in 1998 from the Department of History at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

For many years Jackie hosted a radio show on her local NPR affiliate, WOUB, about contemporary issues in health and medicine. Her television show, HealthVision, appeared for six years on her local PBS affiliate in southeastern Ohio and western West Virginia.
