Mike Hayes

Mike Hayes is the author of two books and served as the principle editor and writer of the World Youth Day Retreat Guide for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Currently Mike is the Director of Young Adult Ministry in the Diocese of Cleveland.

Mike began a rich ministry career by founding the acclaimed spirituality website BustedHalo.com and his first book, Googling God, focused on changing the the conversation within the Catholic Church on ministering to the often ignored 20 and 30 something crowd.

He has worked as a Campus Minister serving both at State University and a Catholic college campus.

A noted media expert, Mike worked at WFAN Radio and WOR Radio for 10 years before re-focusing his energy on direct ministry. He covered the 1996 World Series for WOR and National Public Radio and was an assistant beat reporter covering the Mets and the Yankees alongside Suzyn Waldman and Ed Coleman for WFAN. Mike also served as a producer, technical director or newsroom coordinator for many radio shows like Mike and the MadDog (WFAN), IMUS in the Morning (WFAN), The Richard Neer Show (WFAN), The Howie Rose Show (WFAN), Mets, Rangers, Jets and Knicks broadcasts (WFAN) and was the lead studio producer for the New York Giants football broadcast team (WOR). Mike also produced several talk shows including Food Talk with Arthur Schwartz (WOR), Weekend with Joan and Arthur (WOR) and the Bob Grant Show (WOR).

Mike has been married to Marion since 2002 and they live with their chiahuahua dog, Haze in Lakewood, Ohio.
