Patricia Kollander

Dr. Patricia Kollander received her Ph.D from Brown University, and is Professor of History at Florida Atlantic University, where she teaches courses in modern European history. Her publications include Frederick III: Germany's Liberal Emperor (Greenwood Press, 1995), and "I Must be a Part of this War": A German-American's Fight against Hitler and Nazism (with John O'Sullivan, contributor; Fordham University Press, 2005), along with several articles and book chapters. She is currently examining the experiences of German-born émigrés who fought in the U.S. army during World War II.
