L. L. Barkat

L.L. Barkat is the author of seven books, including the ever-popular 'Rumors of Water: Thoughts on Creativity & Writing'(twice named a Best Book of 2011). Her poems have appeared at Best American Poetry, VQR, NPR, and Every Day Poems, and she's served as a Contributing Writer for The Huffington Post and a freelance writer for Edutopia. She is currently the Managing Editor of Tweetspeak Poetry (https://tweetspeakpoetry.com) and Poetic Earth Month (https://poeticearthmonth.com) One of her favorite things is sitting by the Hudson River and watching the sun go down. She even saw an eagle soaring there once, and the image will stay with her always.
