Julia M. Williams PhD

Julia M. Williams is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at the University of Minnesota Duluth. She works in the field as a grant evaluator and leads strategic planning and innovation initiatives throughout northern Minnesota. Her research centers in the areas of professional development for educators, leadership and systems of leadership in schools, shared decision making, and effective assessment. As a mother, she has raised and helped to raise six children, and she has been a co-parent as well as a single parent. She calls her children her rewards and her credentials, and she knows that the children are all that matters, anyway.
