Arlynn McMahon

Arlynn McMahon grew up in the sky. Soloed on her 16t birthday, certificated on her 17th birthday, commercial pilot on her 18th birthday - but missed an ATP on her birthday because of weather. With 10,000 hours dual given and over 30 years as a career flight instructor, Arlynn has strong views on how to train student pilots, how to develop safety-minded aviatin-citizens and how to instill professional aviation habits into newly minted flight instructors. She is Chief Instructor at Aero-Tech, a KY based flight school that she ownes with husband Charlie (who was her flight instructor). Arlynn was the 2009 National Flight INstructor of the Year and recipient of the 2010 NATA Excellnce in Pilot Training Award.
