Nadder A. Hamdy

Nadder Hamdy is a professor of Electronics and Signal processing at AAST. Alexandria, Egypt. He was the chairman of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department before he retired. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electronics from the University of Erlangen, Germany. His research interests are high-speed Analog to Digital converters, Image and Speech Signal processing, Watermarking and other related topics. He co-authored Electronic Analog to Digital Converters, published 1983 by John Wiley & Sons. He co-chaired the IEEE International MWSCAS held in Cairo, Egypt 2003. He published 47 papers and supervised several MS and Ph.D. theses. He has been teaching Signal Processing for more then 25 years. Dr. Hamdy is member of the steering committee of the MWSCAS and an IEEE senior memberand where he was the former secretary of the Alexandria sub- section.
