Jeanine Behr Getz

Jeanine Behr Getz was born in Brooklyn, New York, she spent summers at her family's camp in the Adirondacks where her love for conservation and understanding of our environmental impacts developed. Jeanine started putting pencil/crayon to paper early on in second grade, expressing her imaginative ideas through creative writings and illustrations. She has always found writing to be a treasured outlet. Her first book, "Think Green!," has won several awards and has been recognized as an important environmental book for children.
