Elspeth Moncrieff

Elspeth Moncrieff was born in London and after studying History of Art worked at the Tate Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum before becoming a writer and journalist. She has worked for both Apollo Magazine and the Art Newspaper and published several art books including Farm Animal Portraits, Edward Bawden's prints - a complete catalogue and a monograph on the artist Andrew Gifford. She is currently Editor of the Sydney based publication the World of Antiques and Art. In 2006 she set up the well respected Moncrieff-Bray Gallery in Petworth, West Sussex specialising in contemporary art and sculpture which can be visited on www.moncrieff-bray.com
