Paul N. Spellman

Paul N. Spellman teaches college U S and Texas History in Fort Bend County, Texas, is a member of the Texas State Historical Association, Western Writers of America, and Imdb. He has been writing Texas history for 20 years, and in 2017 has published his first novel, THE MURDER OF WILLIAM MARSH RICE, a true crime detective mystery investigating the murder of the philanthropist whose estate founded Rice University, set in 1900 against the backdrop of the infamous Galveston Hurricane that killed 6,000 people. Fictional Pinkerton detective Caleb Lincoln searches for Rice's killer while being hunted by a mysterious assassin bent on stopping him and Abbie, the love of his life.

Paul resides in Richmond, Texas, with his wife Kathleen.
