Michael Hatch

I was born in Riverside California in 1980, attended UC Berkeley, published "Hatch's Order of Magnitude" in 2007, started National Banana under Jerry Zucker (Airplane!, Ghost), and with my future business partner. Said partner and I later started Dirt Cheap Sound Stage in Santa Monica which thrived for 3.5 years. I am now Operations Manager at United Technology Group (utechinc.com) and am currently recording a podcast experimenting with new rule structures for debate, in order to better improve the honesty and fidelity of modern political discussion, as well as covering some other topics and discussions, focusing mostly on topics in the category of 'interesting to humans'.

I like to take on things often thought of as unquantifiable, or as eternally unsolveable, and go at them with statistics, analytical thinking, big data, etc.

I live in Santa Monica, CA, I'm the middle of three brothers, I'm an Eagle Scout, oh, and i like making lists of words.
