Joni Hyde

Joni Hyde’s work has spanned both physical fitness training and, more recently, careful engagement with Scripture. Over time, her focus has been shaped by a deepening concern for her own walk with the Lord and a growing dependence on the humbling truth of how faith is formed, sustained, and passed on.

Raised in Florida, Joni spent many years in the fitness industry, where discipline, structure, and long-term perseverance shaped her early work. Over time, life’s unexpected turns—including family loss, motherhood, and seasons of stumbling and rebuilding—redirected her attention toward questions of faith that are not theoretical, but lived: Who is God? Why am I saved by grace? Can God be trusted with those I love? And how does grace actually work in ordinary lives?

Today, Joni writes with particular care for parents and grandparents who want sturdy, honest theology that does not crush the heart or bypass real questions. Her focus is not on simplifying God, but on presenting Him as He has revealed Himself—sovereign, merciful, faithful, and worthy of trust.

Joni is the mother of an adult daughter and a grandmother (“Mimi”) to young grandchildren, whose lives have further shaped her desire to communicate truth with clarity and gentleness. Alongside this work, she is developing companion resources for children that reflect the same theological care.

Joni lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, and believes that grace changes lives—not all at once, but truly, deeply, and over time.
