Andrea J. Baker

Andrea Baker is an internet researcher and a writer interested in online community, identity and relationships, with a book about couples who met online (Double Click, Hampton Press, 2005).

She is recently retired from her position of associate professor of sociology at Ohio University. From her interviews with over 100 hard core fans of The Rolling Stones, she has written academic articles and has completed a book for popular audiences out now called You Get What You Need (Miniver Press, 2014). Her most recent book is a memoir, My Men, Mick, and Me (2020).
