Lea A. Strickland

Lea Strickland has always been driven to succeed. She is an author, columnist, radio show host, small business owner, consultant, and thought leader. Focused and opinionated, her writing success began early with poetry and short stories. By high school, her senior class selected her original poem for the class graduation announcements. Throughout college and her career, Lea would be writing for her own enjoyment and a few close friends.

In 2002 with the founding of her company F.O.C.U.S. Resources, Lea began writing for national and regional publications. Today Lea has authored 3 books on business and 2 on life topics, and co-authored 2 additional books on marketing. She also has over 800 published articles that have appeared in TheStreet.com, Fox Business Online, MWorld, Small Business Technology Magazine, and many other publications.

Lea is currently at work on the next books on change including The ABC's of Biblical Change: Lessons from History (Joshua through Esther).

Lea earned an MA in Applied Biblical Studies from Moody Bible Institute, an MBA from The Ohio State University in Accounting, Marketing, and Change Management, and a BS in Management and Finance from The University of Charleston. She is also a Certified Management Accountant, Certified Financial Manager, Certifed Business Management, and certification in Grants Management.

Her extensive life and professional experience in leading change in major corporations and small business combined with her biblical worldview enables Lea to set high standards for herself and others while extending grace when human nature takes hold.
