1. Bio: Ryan Browning Cassaday is the author of the best-selling book Stop Wondering If You’ll Ever Meet Him with Dr. Jessica Cassaday. He is a certified life coach who has received extensive training at the advanced level. Ryan runs a worldwide dating and relationship consulting practice with his wife, Jessica Cassaday, Ph.D., and has co-created a revolutionary new approach to dating and relationships called The Stop Wondering Method. Jessica and Ryan met eight years ago in graduate school and fell in love while writing their book. Now they are happily married and proud parents to a baby boy. Ryan says they are their favorite testimonial and proof that their SW Method works.
A California native, Ryan always wanted to help people have deeper and more complete relationships with each other. He has always been interested in developing a deep understanding of psychological growth and motivation. He has a B.S. in psychology from Union College with a special emphasis on developmental psychology.
Ryan began his career by working with children of divorce from the ages of four to 17 and their parents. He would work with the entire family system to create solid bonds and help the individuals reclaim their own self-esteem while finding a new direction in life. In his spare time, Ryan also had an extremely successful career as an actor and worked on stage, TV and on film.
Ryan is currently working on his second book which focuses on what to do after you meet someone special and how to make new and existing relationships flourish.
2. What you find most rewarding about helping people? The most rewarding aspect of coaching people has always been helping them to see beyond their limitations so they can experience their full potential. Dating is a particularly rewarding area because people can be successful in other areas of their lives, but if they don’t have the romantic relationship they desire, they feel something is missing.
