Kathy Hunter

Born in Oregon, Kathy left for 20 years to freelance in Alaska. While writing for newspapers and magazines she self-published Tracking the Bear, and Alaska Nicknames. Tracking the Bear earned both state and national awards from the National Press Women. After a move back to Oregon, she combined her talents in writing, music, and theater in Storytelling. There followed three CDs: Why the Skunk Stinks, ROWF! and Four Greek Tales. These recorded stories feature her humor, and catchy tunes. Living next to the Wallowa Mountains, Kathy spends her favorite hours outdoors, hiking with her burro Fancy.
