An automotive journalist and historian with 35+ years of experience, Don Keefe has become a respected authority on Pontiac and GM history and has served as editor of six automotive titles. Currently, he is the Editor of CORSA Communique and the National Impala Association's Impala News. Don is also a Contributing Editor for Collectible Automobile Magazine and Mecum Auctions.
In addition to his magazine experience, Don has also written four books for major automotive publishing companies, Grand Prix: Pontiac's Luxury Performance Car (2007) for Enthusiast Books, as well as How to Restore Your Pontiac GTO: 1964-1974 (2012) and Pontiac Concept and Show Cars (2016), both published by CarTech. His newest book, tentatively titled, Pontiac Performance 1960-1974: The of Super Duty, HO and Ram Air Race and Muscle Cars was released in October of 2024 through CarTech Books.
Don has also been recognized with some prestigious awards, having won a 2017 International Automotive Media Competition Silver Award, as well as a 2018 Automotive Heritage Award Gold and an Automotive Heritage Award “Best Marque-Specific Award,” both presented at that year's Concours d'Elegance of America. Most recently, his work earned him a nomination and acceptance into Marquis’ Who’s Who in America in 2023.
