Robert Vivian is the author of The Tall Grass Trilogy (The Mover Of Bones, Lamb Bright Saviors, and Another Burning Kingdom), Water And Abandon, and two collections of meditative essays, Cold Snap As Yearning and The Least Cricket Of Evening. His first book of poetry called Mystery My Country will be published in the spring of 2016 in addition to another book of poems co-written with the poet Richard Jackson called Traversings. He teaches at Alma College and in the low-residency MFA at the Vermont College of Fine Arts. He's married to the artist, writer, and costume designer Tina Vivian. They live much of the year in the country in Northern Michigan where he fly fishes as much as humanly possible.
