Ted DeMille

Ted DeMille teaches first and second grade at Nancie Atwell's Center for Teaching and Learning. Ted has twenty-seven years of teaching experience. He conducts research on how to effectively teach reading and writing skills and strategies using engaging story and chapter books, drawing, story telling, memoir, fiction, and songwriting. Ted's methods draw from his real life experiences as a teacher, artist, musician, and songwriter. Ted is an experienced and dynamic presenter. He regularly provides seminars and in-service training to teachers all over the United States. He has worked with Nancie Atwell, Smokey Daniels, Steph Harvey, Katie Wood Ray, and Carl Anderson.
