Michael D. Lairson

Michael Lairson is currently a Director of Data Science at Insperity, a full-service HR solutions company dedicated to helping businesses succeed so communities prosper. This meshes nicely with Michael's personal interest in helping people benefit and succeed in their use of data. Michael holds degrees in English (B.A., Charlotte University, 1993) and Instructional Systems Design with a focus on Educational Measurement and Statistics (M.Ed., Charlotte University, 1999). He began his career as a technical writer before transitioning into performance improvement and then into the software world where he developed certification exams, training, implemented software, developed analytics, and discovered his passion for working with data.
