Over 350 articles published to date in the hunting/outdoor literature. Hunted in 18 U. S. States and 7 Canadian Provinces, plus Mexico, as well as 25 countries of Asia and Europe. Major book on taking the 43 North American big game species and subspecies with the same Remington .30-06 rifle (One Man, One Rifle, One Land) published in January 2001 and now in its second printing(Safari Press, Huntington Beach, CA). Working on a sequel to that book using a different Remington rifle in Eurasia, a book that will feature some 72 big game species. Published a series of books by Safari Press, Huntington Beach, CA (http://www.safaripress.com/): Ask the Elk Guides, published December 2004; Ask the Whitetail Guides, published June 2006; Ask the Black Bear Guides, published January 2008, Ask the Mule Deer Guides, published January 2009, and Ask the Grizzly and Brown Bear Guides, in press for publication Fall 2010.

Published Worship Not the Creature: Animal Rights and the Bible, (www.nordskogpublishing.com) July 2009, which is a Bible-based refutation of the erroneous and dangerous concept of animal rights. This book also in its second print run.

Published an earlier book, Impossible to Fail, which details the huge effort to change U. S. law to allow importation of Canadian polar bear trophies (ten trips to the Arctic, nearly that many to Washington, D. C., thousands of letters, and two separate acts of Congress). ( Providence House Publishers, Franklin, TN). Published Lightspeed to Babylon, a futuristic version of the animal rights movement and how an ultimate victory by them devastates the world. Second fiction novel: Crossing the Burn deals with growing up in the North Georgia mountains.

Life Theme:

That everything I say and do may in some way through some mechanism draw others to a living relationship to Jesus Christ. This includes my profession, my missionary activities, my public service, my hunting avocation, my writing, and every area of stewardship. Specifically with regard to my hunting avocation, I want to use my time, my talents, my money, my influence, and my opportunities to draw sportsmen and sportswomen to the same kind of life-giving relationship to the Savior Jesus Christ that I enjoy. I believe my primary purpose on planet Earth is to spread the gospel of my living Lord.
