Peggy R. Wolfe

Award-winning author Peggy Wolfe has produced how-to books on electrical wiring since 1978 as president of a publishing company founded in 1939 by her father, Herbert P. Richter. She has a master's degree in library science, established the corporate library at Pillsbury, and worked as a research fellow/librarian at the University of Minnesota. She first wrote about vision loss as her own eyesight faded from macular degeneration. Her goal as a rockin' octogenarian has been to find and share practical ways to live well with declining vision. Her books on vision loss have received multiple book awards (Ben Franklin Award and Midwest Book Award).
