Knut L. Seip (1942 -) is a Norwegian professor of Environmental technology. He has made several studies of ecological environments- like the rocky shores (what happens when they get polluted?) on lake ecosystems (when do you see improvement in lake water quality after cleaning them?). He has also studied economic systems (Is the indexes that predict the ups and downs of US economy always working as they should? ) He has identified methods that make it easier to see that something is the cause of something else, both in ecology and economics. He has failed to show that algae can be used to monitor pollution and he has failed to predict the future development of US economy. Knut Seip teaches decision making and ecology. He is an enthusiastic house builder of small cabins, but unfortunately, all his houses, except one, have sagged roofs. He is waiting for the last one to be sagged as well.
