Jacqueline Jules

Jacqueline Jules is a former school librarian and author of fifty books for young readers, including the Zapato Power series, the Sofia Martinez series, Unite or Die: How Thirteen States Became a Nation, Duck for Turkey Day, Never Say a Mean Word Again, My Name is Hamburger, and Feathers for Peacock. She is also a poet and the author of Manna in the Morning, Itzhak Perlman's Broken String, Smoke at the Pentagon: Poems to Remember, and Tag Your Dreams: Poems of Play and Persistence. Her work has appeared in over one hundred publications. She lives on Long Island, New York.
