I have always been a writer, finding words a wonderful way to tell the stories that make up our lives. Each life is a book, one in which we create the stories that make up our life. I love hearing the stories of others and how they have crafted their own "book" that we all call life.

My new book, Joy Journal, will be published in February 2023. I am excited to bring this new venture to readers through Amazon and look forward to interacting with readers about it. My journey the last three years has taken me to being involved with Mary & Martha, a faith based company that's a part of DaySpring. That strengthening of faith has led to creating more things that help us develop our faith and prayer life. This journal is the first publication in that light.

I was in the medical transcription industry for several years. My first book published, "Stedman's Guide to the HIPAA Privacy Rule for Medical Transcription," was done when I saw the need for medical transcriptionists to have something that explained the HIPAA Privacy Rule in clear, easy to understand terms.

In 2009, my life changed on a lot of fronts. I got married, and my new name is Kathy Nicholls. My husband is from Barbados and we have a wonderful life with two very different cultures. I lived in Barbados for two years during a project for my job and it was a life-changing experience in so many ways.

Also in 2009, I began to explore the world of writing ebooks and doing internet marketing. I am now a certified inbound marketing professional and have learned a lot about that this year. Our world is definitely changing with social media and all it brings to the table to connect people and I am enjoying that exploration.

I am currently blessed to lead an awesome team in the direct sales industry with Mary & Martha. In that role, I mentor others to grow their own business and create their own strong economy.

My passion now includes developing leaders who are interested in leading with integrity. I love mentoring and watching new leaders grow, no matter what practice they are in. It is something I have always enjoyed.

I am an avid reader. Some of my favorite authors include Ken Blanchard, Andy Andrews, and Seth Godin. In addition, I follow several blogs online to stay in tune with what is happening there.

I currently write at my own personal website.

My dream is to continue to create products (websites, books, etc.) that will bring value to the world today and an opportunity to share some of my experience.
