As a small child, Lori Buhler learned many forms of needlework, including sewing, from her mother. She began her journey into quilting in the 1980s and hasn't looked back since. Although she began making quilts using traditional hand-sewing methods, she has learned to apprecitate the faster results of machine work. In addition to being an active member of several quilting groups, she has also won numerous regional awards, including Quilter of the Year from the Cal-Co Quilter's Guild in 2001. Lori lives in Battle Creek, Michigan with her husband Dave and daughter Amanda.
