David Marshall

David Marshall is an industry recognized virtualization expert with more than 20 years in Information Technology and more than 12 years of hands on experience with virtualization technologies from VMware, Microsoft and Citrix.

David is the co-author of two popular virtualization books, VMware ESX Essentials in the Virtual Data Center and Advanced Server Virtualization: VMware and Microsoft Platforms in the Virtual Data Center. He is also the author of numerous articles for a number of well known technical magazines such as TechTarget and Virtual Strategy Magazine, and also authors the Virtualization Report for InfoWorld magazine. Back in 2004, he also founded and still currently operates one of the oldest and most popular virtualization and cloud news sites, VMblog.com.

David has also appeared on a number of conference panels focused on the subject of virtualization. And he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Finance and an Information Technology Certification from the University of New Orleans.
