Doug Hall

Doug Hall was born and educated in Toronto. Following graduation from university he was Senior Press officer for IBM Canada. Upon leaving IBM he became a radio and television talk show host for more than 30 years on nationally syndicated shows including: Open Mike; The Doug Hall Show; Betsellers and Daybeat in both Canada and the United States.

He has been on assignment in the United States, Russia, Israel,Lebanon,Syria,Jordan,Iraq and Haiti.

He has written eight mysteries,five novels,three biographies, three children and one historical "Country on CD" for total of 20 books since 1968. His latest "Murder At Madison Lake" will be released in the fall of 2012. He is presently writing his 21st book, another mystery.

His biographies include "The Real Patsy Cline" and "The Mamas & The Papas." A number of his books have been translated into Swedish, Russian, and German. He was Excutive Producer for a number of television documentries including:Paul Anka;Englebert Humperdinck; Gordon Lightfoot and Roy Orbison.

He was the only multiple scriptwriter on the 20th Century/NBC/CTV science fiction series "The Starlost."
