Jody Weiner

Jody Weiner was born and raised in Chicago, IL, where he spent the first decade of his long-standing legal career defending criminal cases in many state and federal courts. Weiner then settled in California to write books, screenplays and to practice civil law (in no particular order.) Over the years his clients have ranged from death row inmates to an NBA All-Star, from an inventor of the MRI machine to Koko the signing gorilla. Weiner was consulting producer to "Hoodwinked Too! Hood v Evil," animated feature film (2011 TWC/KE), serves on the Advisory Board of the Litquake Foundation, a non-profit supporting literature and promoting literary festivals nationwide, served on the Board of Directors of the Golda Foundation, a non-profit supporting artists, He lives in San Francisco with his wife, Nancy Calef, an oil and mixed media figurative painter, singer-song writer and author.
