Chris Rodgers has been an independent consultant, facilitator and coach since 1998. During that time, he has worked with senior management teams, large groups and individuals, both in the UK and internationally, to help them address key aspects of strategic performance, change leadership and organizational dynamics. Additionally, he runs seminars and workshops on leadership, change and organizational dynamics. For 12 years, from December 1998, Chris was an Honorary Senior Visiting Fellow in the Faculty of Management at The Business School (formerly Cass), City ,University of London.
Before establishing his consultancy business, Chris held a wide range of senior positions within the UK power generation industry. The last ten years of his career with National Power, and its predecessor the CEGB, spanned the period of the industry's groundbreaking privatization and its subsequent commercial development - a time of unprecedented organizational change and development.
Chris has a masters degree in Managing Change and has also completed an Advanced Coach Training Programme in Executive Coaching. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, a Member of the Institute of Business Consulting and a Member of the Association for Management Education and Development. Since January 2005, he has also run a network of senior OD practitioners and other managers
His wiggly world/informal coalitions view of organizational dynamics presents a radical challenge to the conventional view of how organization works and how change happens. This sees organization as emerging continuously in the complex social processes of everyday human interaction.
