Ross F. Collins

Ross F. Collins is a professor of communication at North Dakota State University, Fargo, USA. As a cultural historian and journalism professor he has published or edited seven books and about two dozen academic articles and monographs. Previously a newspaper reporter, freelance journalist and public relations practitioner, he has also published several hundred stories and photos in a variety of mass media. He is a former president of the American Journalism Historians Association. Collins earned his Ph.D. from the University of Cambridge, UK.
