George Ellis

I've spent the majority of my career writing and directing commercials. Usually (hopefully!) the funny ones. In addition to doing the ad thing, I also co-founded a satirical publication called The Heckler. Which, along with my love for Chicago sports, explains the Cubs book I wrote back in the early 2000s.

I'm also an avid fantasy and science fiction fan, whether it's series like The Expanse and A Song Of Ice & Fire, or just a thrilling standalone novel like Dark Matter. In terms of my own writing, I almost always strive to make levity an integral element. You know, because that makes things fun. And fun is good. Even when dealing with interstellar pirates or vengeful mages.
