Jonathan Klawans

Jonathan Klawans is Professor of Religion and Jewish Studies at Boston University. Klawans joined BU’s faculty in 1997, upon receiving his PhD from Columbia University. Klawans also holds degrees from New York University (MA 1993) and Jewish Theological Seminary (BA 1991). Klawans has also taught at Harvard University and Hebrew College and has been involved in adult education in various forms. In addition to the books available here, Klawans has authored dozens of academic articles and reviews and is co-editor of the Journal of Ancient Judaism.
