Sarah Storme

I'm an engineer. No, really. I grew up in New Orleans, the granddaughter of a Cajun. After a year in college, I ran off to Alaska during the Pipeline Days (the real Wild West). Loved every second of it. I returned to school at The University of Texas, where I earned a BS and MS in Civil Engineering. I'm fortunate enough to have lived all over the country, and have even been to Siberia for work. I write every moment I'm not working.

I have more than 20 published novels, and have appeared in 4 major anthologies. About a dozen of my novellas and several short stories that have been picked up by publishers. I write under several different names, including Sarah Storme, S. H. Baker, Sarah H. Baker, and Lydia Parks. My first full-cast performance audio book, RETURN TO MARSHALL'S BAYOU, was an Audie finalist! (Hey, I lost to James Lee Burke, so I'm thrilled.) The second one, ANGEL IN MY ARMS, is out and is amazing.

I enjoy sharing my experiences in the world of writing and publishing with fellow writers. And I love to talk with writers and readers. Have a question? Hit me up.
