Marion Demossier

Marion Demossier is a social-anthropologist by training. She was born in Burgundy (Beaune) and studied in Dijon, and then Paris, before completing a PhD at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales. She has been involved as an expert with the wine industry in France, Italy and New Zealand over a period of twenty years. She is regularly invited to lecture at international conferences and has appeared on both television and national radio in the UK and France to discuss issues related to her work. She sits on the UNESCO Climats de Bourgogne. scientific Committee member: http://www.climats-bourgogne.com/ and is a member of the UNESCO network Chair Culture of Wine, Dijon since 2006.
