Malcolm D. Magee

Malcolm Magee received his Ph.D. in the history of international relations following a career in religious and nonprofit organizations. His interest fields include American religious history, progressive era politics, and 19th century political and religious thought. His book "What the World Should Be: Woodrow Wilson and the Crafting of a Faith Based Foreign Policy," was released by Baylor University Press in 2008. In 2009-10 he worked on a Teaching American History project in Battle Creek. He wrote a chapter in the Blackwell Companion series on Woodrow Wilson, a textbook on the US from the Spanish American War to the present, and a chapter on US foreign policy since the colonial era in the Oxford Encyclopedia of American Religion. He is working on a history of the Great War and has published several works of fiction. After a year out teaching in Prague in the Czech Republic, Magee returned to teaching history and philosophy at the University of Maryland Global Campus, Europe.
