Gordon Jackson

Gordon S. Jackson is a South African born educator and writer. After working as a reporter and editor for a news magazine in Johannesburg he earned his doctorate at Indiana University in 1983. He then taught journalism at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, for 32 years, retiring in 2015.

Since then he has written three satirical novels and three other books. The most recent is Meet the Dog that Didn’t Sh*t: 101 Reflections on Words and Their Magic.

Subsequently he wrote The God Who Blesses, published by Kharis Publishing. His most recent book is Your Photo on God's Fridge Door, a collection of contemporary parables and analogies. It is published by Mt Zion Ridge Press.

He is married to another South African, Sue. They have two adult children.
