John H. Groberg

Elder John H. Groberg was called to the First Quorum of the Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in April 1976. He has served as the executive administrator for several areas of the Church, including Hawaii / Tonga / Tahiti / Fiji / Samoa / Micronesia / Nevada / Arizona; the United States North Central Area; and the Northern California Area. He has also served in the Utah North Area, Utah South Area, North America West Area, South America South, and Asia Area presidencies.

Prior to receiving the call to become a General Authority, Elder Groberg served as a Regional Representative, as a mission president in Tonga (where he had earlier served a ­full-­time mission), and as a bishop.

A native of Idaho Falls, Idaho, the author was engaged for many years in the real estate, development, and construction business in that area. He graduated from Brigham Young University and received a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana University.

The author is married to Jean Sabin Groberg, and they are the parents of eleven children. The family has lived in Tonga, Hawaii, Argentina, Hong Kong, and various locations in the continental United States.
