Steve Wolf

Steve Wolf is a professional stunt coordinator, special effects supervisor, pyrotechnician, and expert witness with over 25 years of experience in film, television, and live event production. He is the founder of Wolf Stuntworks LLC and Team Wildfire, based in Boulder, Colorado.

Wolf has served as an expert witness in high-profile cases involving on-set firearms incidents, pyrotechnic accidents, rigging failures, climbing gym injuries, fireworks litigation, and entertainment industry negligence. His technical testimony has been provided in cases involving major defendants nationwide.

His credentials include pyrotechnic licensing, certified rigging expertise, firearms instruction, ballistics analysis, and wildfire mitigation technology development. He attended Columbia University, where he earned a BA in Writing and Literature, and completed the Techstars accelerator program.

Wolf is the author of multiple professional reference books for attorneys and expert witnesses, including The Practical Effects Bible, Being a Great Expert Witness, Firearms Safety On Set, and specialized litigation guides covering fireworks, firearms defects, entertainment industry cases, and adventure activity injuries.
