Shannon Borg

“Jump and the net will appear,” they say. As a writer, Shannon Borg has spent her writing life jumping into new realms, from wine writing, to food, travel and art. Before starting her own business as a fine artist and art/business coach, she published three books, wrote a wine column for Seattle magazine, and completed a PhD (and MFA) in creative writing. At 50, she fulfilled a long-held dream of going back to art school to study painting. With this shift, she felt she was “weaving the net” as she jumped into it.

Each book Shannon has written has been a journey into a new world, and the next phase is no different, with a new book, "Weaving the Net: Becoming an Artist Later in Life" in the works.

Today, she teaches online and coaches artists on evolving the innate creative process within.
