Suzann Thompson

Celebrate Doilies, an exhibit honoring our crochet heritage through stories, photos, doily-themed art, and poetry, will debut in July 2017. Suzann has been working on this exhibit for over a year, drawing heavily on the designs in her own crochet books (find them here at Amazon) to create the art for the show.

Read more about the exhibit at Suzann's bookblog, Curious and Crafty Readers.

Suzann enjoys living in rural Texas, where it's mostly quiet. She and her family live in a compressed earth block house, whose outer earthen walls were built with the help of friends and family. Find lots of in-progress photos at her blog, Suzann's TextileFusion.
