John P. Flynt

John P. Flynt, Ph.D. is a licensed professional mental health counselor (LPC) with Your Horizon Counseling in Boulder, Colorado. His career as a counselor followed his career as teacher and technical author. He has taught at the University of Colorado, Boulder, in the Department of English and the Department of Applied Mathematics. He has worked with youth groups through the Digital Explorations outreach program, with sponsorship from the National Science Foundation, and he has been a strong advocate of using video games in educational settings to explore science, literature, music, and digital art.
